About
I am a Game Developer who is passionate about astronomy. I'm a big enjoyer of Java and I've been making indie video game projects for over 5 years.
In my free time, I've been learning game development and I'm currently trying to find a use for my home server. I enjoy learning about new technologies, frameworks, and programming languages.
I try my best to read the books I like in my spare time.
Project I'm on
I'm currently working on programming a roguelike with ASCII graphics.
I often struggle to stick with the same project for a long time, but I'm doing my best to stay focused and create a fully-fledged game. However, I've managed to consistently use the same tools for a while now, and the main one is Java.
At the moment, I'm using a library to help me, though I haven't incorporated a full framework yet. Maybe later on, I’ll consider using LibGDX to assist with distributing my game.
Astronomy stuff
I've always been interested in astronomy, but about a year, I've become especially passionate about solar activity.
It's something I find incredibly fascinating the dynamic nature of the sun, solar flares, sunspots, and how they affect space weather. I often check SpaceWeatherLive to keep up with the latest updates. What really draws me in, aside from the sheer beauty of these phenomena, is the abundance of data.
I'm someone who loves numbers and statistics, and solar activity provides a constant flow of intriguing information to analyze and interpret. Whether it's solar flare indices, geomagnetic storm forecasts, or historical trends, there's always something new to check.
